UCalgary Convocation Visitor Experience Host and Accessibility Services Facilitators- June 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 & 10

The University of Calgary Convocation Ceremonies are a special time of year for our graduating students, who will be celebrating their accomplishments with family and friends from June 3-10th. Sign up to make convocation memorable for our newest graduates by welcoming them into the alumni community in a meaningful way. 

We're seeking volunteers to help us celebrate more than 7,200 new graduates in a variety of roles:

Visitor Experience Host and Accessibility Services Facilitators help guests have the smoothest possible experience while attending convocation.

Role Description: Help create a positive experience for guests by providing a friendly welcome, answering any questions, and providing directions and navigational support. Ensure that guests have information about accessibility services such as wheelchairs, elevators, noise cancelling headphones, and the quiet room, and facilitate access to all.

Note: This role will involve a high amount of public interaction in a very busy social environment. You must also be physically capable of pushing guests in wheelchairs as required, and might be required to push up to 400 lbs. in a wheelchair.
