Grocery Delivery & Friendly Visits Volunteer

Support homebound seniors by helping them access groceries, companionship, and community connection. In this role, you’ll grocery shop on behalf of seniors, deliver their items, provide friendly in-home visits, and offer light support with transportation to Unison so they can participate in programs and connect with others. Schedule & Time Commitment: Flexible scheduling based on your availability Weekday daytime availability preferred Key Responsibilities: Grocery shop for seniors who cannot shop independently Deliver groceries to their homes and assist with unpacking if needed Provide friendly visits and social support in the senior’s home Offer transportation support to Unison programs (when needed) Build trust and connection with seniors while maintaining boundaries and respect
