Canadian Democracy 2.0. What is the future of the Canadian democratic system? Our investigation picks up where the Federal Government left off two years ago and spans across the many suggested enhancements to our federal voting system and governance. Our research converges to a transferable vote and aligns with the governance category of proportional voting, but offers some notable benefits. We are hoping to find volunteers that will help explore the Canadian future of democracy in a more experimental "real life" way, that may support or contradict the academic approach to politics. As such, our initial tasks will be door knocking, creating a "virtual" assembly (with our voting software) and establish a grass roots team. This initiative would be good for those who want to learn about the philosophy of politics in a more intimate way, who believe in a strong Canadian future and are passionate about helping people.
