Kitchen Helper

Do you love being in a kitchen environment? As a volunteer kitchen attendant, you will be helping to make sure people in your community receive a good meal. In this volunteer role you will provide quality food preparation duties to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and meets the needs of residents who are looking forward to a meal at breakfast, lunch and dinner. This role is best suited for an organized foodie who enjoys being in a fast-paced environment.

- Assist with meal preparation, service and delivery. 
- Assist with the sanitation and daily/weekly cleaning according to established schedules related to the provision of safe, nutritious meal preparation and service.
-Assist with clean-up, including wiping tables, washing floors, scraping plates, and loading dish washer

Centre of Hope Location:
420 9 Ave SE
Kitchen Helpers *URGENT NEED* (up to 12 volunteers needed every shift)
Schedule: every day
Breakfast: 6:30 am to 8:30 pm
Lunch: 11 am to 1 pm
Dinner: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm *we are starting to serve up to 350 dinners a day starting in May*

West Campus:
1731 29th Street SW 
Kitchen Helpers *URGENT NEED* (one to three volunteers needed every shift)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Breakfast: 8:30 am to 10:30 am
Dinner: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
