Hope Market Groceries: Shelving and Stocking Support

#100 5115. 17th Ave SE, Calgary, AB [map]
Ongoing
The Canadian Food Price report shows that groceries are estimated to cost
$1000 more for a family on average in 2026. Hope Market is a new initiative launching in January 2026 by The Salvation Army through our Community Resource Centre. Our goal is to provide free groceries to those who are in need.

The role of shelving and stocking groceries helps ensure organization, cleanliness, and a smooth experience for clients. If you are organized with an eye for detail, consider volunteering with us in this environment. This is a fantastic role for individuals and groups looking to contribute to their community.

Shifts:
Saturdays: 1:00-3:30
Wednesdays: 1:00-3:30

You can join us on a weekly, monthly, or as available basis.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Your role directly provides food to those who have to make difficult financial decisions
when it comes to their food supply. An organized and stocked facility are critical to providing families with food on the table.
