The Doorway began in 1988 as The Back Door A Youth Employment Society. Its mission is making change possible by empowering people to take steps toward a sustainable future. The Doorway provides an opportunity for young people (17-30 years old), who want to exit the streets, to build independent and sustainable lives in society through self-determination.
