Spark began in 1967 promoting curiosity, innovation and collaboration, and encouraging children and youth to pursue higher education and careers in science and technology.

In 2011, Spark opened the doors to a reimagined science centre - a place that is, in fact, much more than a science centre. This is a place to explore and get hands-on with science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Our mission is to bring people together to learn, play and create with science, technology, engineering, art and math. We envision a community transformed by a culture of curiosity, risk-taking, and problem solving.
