About the Role

We’re looking for Online Program Support Volunteers to help support teaching and learning during virtual STEM sessions. This role works closely with Virtual Program Facilitators to help students stay engaged, understand activities, and feel supported during online programs.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys helping explain concepts, answering questions, and supporting students, without needing to lead the entire session.

What You’ll Do
-Support facilitators during live virtual STEM sessions
-Help students follow along with activities or instructions
-Answer questions in chat or breakout rooms
-Help guide students who need extra support
-Share links, resources, or instructions during sessions
-Help keep sessions organized, positive, and welcoming

What We’re Looking For
-Comfortable interacting with students online
-Friendly, patient, and encouraging
-Comfortable using Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms
-Able to explain ideas clearly or help students troubleshoot
-Interest in STEM, education, tutoring, or mentorship
