Director of Operations

STEM For The Future is currently seeking a Director of Operations to serve in a senior leadership capacity.

This role is designed for an individual prepared to operate at an executive level, with significant ownership over the organization’s structure, performance, and growth.

Position Overview
The Director of Operations will function as an Acting Chief Operating Officer / CEO-equivalent partner, responsible for ensuring the organization operates efficiently, strategically, and at a high standard across all departments.

This position requires a high degree of autonomy, leadership, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
-Oversee day-to-day operations across all programs and departments
-Manage and support directors, coordinators, and leadership teams
-Develop and implement organizational systems, workflows, and structures
-Drive strategic planning and execution in collaboration with the Founder
-Support organizational growth, partnerships, and expansion initiatives
-Ensure alignment, accountability, and performance across all teams
-Identify operational challenges and proactively implement solutions

Qualifications
-Demonstrated leadership experience (nonprofit, academic, startup, or equivalent)
-Strong organizational and operational management skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
-High level of initiative, professionalism, and accountability
-Strong communication and team management abilities
-Interest in education, STEM, or youth development is strongly preferred

Commitment
Approximately 10–20 hours per week
Fully remote
