Member Profile Video Creator

Sport Calgary is looking for creative volunteers to help expand our Member Profile Video Library. As a volunteer, you’ll create short, engaging videos that showcase our member sport organizations and the people, programs, and impact that make them unique.

Each organization will need three video formats:

15 seconds – TikTok / Instagram Reels style
30 seconds – Instagram / Facebook / LinkedIn friendly
2 minutes – full profile storytelling

Volunteers can select one or multiple organizations to profile. Video equipment is available through Sport Calgary if you need it.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sport Calgary staff and member organizations to plan content
Film and edit high-quality videos in all three formats
Conduct brief interviews with staff, coaches, athletes, or volunteers
Add captions, graphics, or logos as needed
Deliver final videos in appropriate formats for each platform
Organize and submit files to Sport Calgary’s video library

Skills & Qualifications

Passion for storytelling and sport in Calgary
Video production experience (filming, sound, editing)
Familiarity with social media video formats and platform requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable conducting short interviews and engaging with different people
Organizational skills to manage raw footage and final videos
Technical tools: Experience with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Canva, or similar tools is an asset.
