SouthWest Communities Resource Centre

For 20 years the SWCRC has been supporting local residents overcome adversity through education, information and preventative social programs and services. With a long history in south Calgary we have established strong and trusted partnerships and are seen as a welcoming hub for all ages and backgrounds.
In 2019-2020 our Centre recorded a record number of people visiting our space for one of our many programs and services. We had 4557 in person visits, 2574 phone call and 1062 unduplicated individuals.
We help support all ages by helping them identify goals, problem solve and learn new skills to cope with their current situation and build personal capacity. We ensure people's basic needs are met and provide meaningful referrals to community partners to work with more complex issues.
