Volunteer with Silvera's annual employee conference happening on Monday, May 26th and Tuesday, May 27th. This year's conference theme is "The Power of Us” and is a celebration of what we can achieve when we work together. In a time of change and growth within our organization, this theme brings attention to the strength we find in relationships, collaboration, and shared purpose. It reminds us that while individual talents are valuable, it’s our collective effort—supporting one another and facing change and challenges as one team—that truly drives our success. This conference is taking place at The Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre located at 1316 33rd St. NE and is accessible by transit and has free parking. Volunteers are needed for various roles to support with: • initial set up and decorating, • daily registration and set-up, • providing navigation assistance to attendees, • technical support, and • decoration take down on the final day. This is a great volunteer opportunity for those looking to get event experience and you will be supporting the employees of our non-profit organization to experience the personal growth and connection that the Employee conference offers. Additional Details & Skills Required
There will be an online volunteer orientation for this event which is expected to be up to 30 minutes and will be done over Teams. A recording of the orientation will be available to those who cannot attend the orientation.
Certification or Education Required
Certain volunteer roles require technical experience to be able to support with troubleshooting technical issues during the event.
