Need Volunteers for Casino Fundraiser - November 25 & 26, 2025
The SIDS Calgary Society casino fundraiser will take place on Tuesday, November 25 and Wednesday, November 26 at the Elbow River Casino. This event is important to help advance the Society’s mission and ensure its continued success. SIDS Calgary Society is dedicated to supporting families who have lost an infant or young child suddenly and unexpectedly. The organization offers peer support and grief workshops and programs for bereaved parents and invests in research to better understand why babies die. We are looking for volunteers to fill essential positions, including banker, cashier, chip runner, and countroom staff. Please consider joining us to support this valuable cause and help ensure the fundraiser’s success. Volunteers needed for shifts on November 25 and 26: Shift 1: from 11 AM - 7:30 PM Shift 2: from 6:45 PM - 3:30 AM General Requirements for Casino Volunteers • Always have picture identification during the casino event. • Able to pass a security clearance check. • Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
