The volunteer Finance Administrator will support the church's financial operations by assisting with financial record-keeping, reporting, budgeting, and general administrative tasks related to church finances. This role is crucial in ensuring the transparency, accuracy, and organization of the church’s financial resources. Responsibilities: Assist in managing financial records, including processing donations, tithes, and other income. Help with the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the church leadership. Maintain and update financial databases and spreadsheets. Support with the tracking of expenses and ensuring that bills and invoices are processed in a timely manner. Assist in preparing financial statements for church meetings, audits, and tax purposes. Help with organizing and managing financial documentation, ensuring it is properly filed and accessible. Collaborate with the finance team and church leadership to ensure that financial processes are efficient and compliant with relevant regulations. Assist in the preparation of year-end reports and tax filings, including preparing donation receipts for members.
