50/50 Volunteer Ticket Sellers - Edmonton Oilers

Are you passionate about food waste prevention and its impact on our climate? Do you love the buzz of a great event?

Second Harvest will be the proud sponsor of the Edmonton Oilers 50/50 at the game against the Boston Bruins on December 31, 2025. We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to promote the sale of tickets during the hockey game. We invite you to ring in the new year with us while we help raise funds for Second Harvest and food rescue!

Date: December 31, 2025

Shift Time: 4:30pm-10:30pm MST 
Must be able to sell until 15 minutes after the game has ended
Breaks will be provided

Location: Rogers Place – 10220 104 Ave NW, Edmonton AB  

Volunteers Needed: 30-40

Age Minimum: 18 years old, no minors can be volunteers or accompany an adult who is selling 50/50 tickets

Qualifications:
•	Ability to speak clearly and confidently with game attendees and answer questions
•	Possess a friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on sales and polite customer service
•	Must be responsible, punctual and reliable
 
Requirements:
•	Must be able to stand for an extended period of time and able to move around the arena, as needed
•	Must be comfortable operating point of sale machines and/or instructing buyers on how to purchase tickets online (training provided)
•	Must follow all Second Harvest and event protocols/procedures 
•	Must be available for the entire volunteer shift

Training:
Virtual Second Harvest volunteer orientation session and additional training will be provided on-site.
