PCHS Calgary

PCHS Calgary is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Calgary’s South Asian community through culturally informed health and social services. Our programs support individuals and families in the areas of mental health, addiction, family wellness, and more, with a focus on breaking down cultural stigmas and barriers to accessing care.
PCHS Calgary’s Integrated Holistic Service Delivery Model incorporates a foundational understanding of the differences between South Asian and Western cultures which impact the delivery of social and health care services. This model recognizes South Asian cultural norms of defining illness, acknowledging social problems and seeking resolution, and leverages these to deliver services in a culturally appropriate manner.
PCHS's vision is to have healthy and thriving diverse South Asian Communities. Its mission is to be guided by the voices of South Asian communities to provide professional, culturally-responsive, family-centred, accessible and confidential support.
