Marketing Chair for Patient Advocacy Non-profit

Open Arms Patient Advocacy Society is currently recruiting for a Marketing Chair to join our board and lead our marketing team! We are a non-profit Alberta organization who advocates with families and patients to help them obtain information where unanswered questions may remain with respect to their treatment within the health system. 

Marketing Chair/Director Duties:
*Accountable for the successful management of marketing planning, implementation and evaluation of marketing strategies and programs to ensure they support the targets, goals and objectives of the societies strategic plans. 
*Lead a team of 2 and grow it to help the initiatives of the organizations
*Manage the development and evaluation of marketing strategies ensuring that the society objectives are supported. 
*Establish program and planning direction and offer recommendations. 
*Provide expert advice and maintenance concerning marketing options such as Facebook, Web design, Twitter etc. 
*Develop an integrated service strategy incorporating elements such as timing, target, geographic distribution, evaluation criteria, etc. 
*Establish a monitoring system to evaluate the impact of implementation and adjust as required. 
*Liaise with a broad network of internal and external contacts (Associations, Business Associations, government agencies, Media etc.) to ensure Marketing strategy has been implemented and maintained. 
*Train and manage Marketing Committee volunteers and ensure volunteers possess the appropriate skills and competencies to meet committee objectives. 
*Determine and implement all marketing tools such as image, logo, banner, website, and communication materials.
