At OBAD, we believe that hope and connection can transform lives. We’re a peer-led organization dedicated to supporting and informing individuals living with severe mood disorders—including Bipolar Disorder, Unipolar Depression, and Schizoaffective Disorder—and those who care for them. OBAD serves adults from all walks of life—whether you’re personally dealing with a mood disorder or supporting a loved one who is. We bring together peers, families, and caregivers to learn, share, and grow as part of a supportive community.
The Treasurer is a member of the Board of Directors who ensures financial oversight and sound fiscal governance for OBAD. With the operational accounting handled by an external bookkeeper and compliance filings managed by an external accountant, the Treasurer focuses on reviewing reports, ensuring financial transparency, and advising the board on financial matters.
