About Us
NE Calgary Moms is a grassroots, volunteer-led non-profit supporting families in Northeast Calgary. Through programs like our Backpack Program, Birthday Program, Food Distribution, and community events, we work to reduce barriers and strengthen family well-being.

The Opportunity
We are currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join our Board of Directors. This is a unique chance to contribute your skills and passion to a growing community organization.

Open Roles:
	•	Secretary – Keeps our organization running smoothly by recording minutes, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with bylaws and policies.
	•	Director of Family Support Programs – Leads and supports family-centered programs such as school supplies, birthday gifts, and food security initiatives.
	•	Director of Community Outreach & Partnerships – Builds relationships with local businesses, organizations, and partners to grow donations, sponsorships, and collaborations.
	•	Members-at-Large – Flexible board members who contribute to decision-making, join committees, and support projects where extra help is needed.

	•	18+ and resident of Alberta
	•	Passion for supporting families and building stronger communities
	•	Willingness to commit to monthly board meetings (in-person or virtual) and assist with community events
	•	No prior board experience required — training and mentorship provided
