Marketing Assistant

Amplify our mission by assisting our Marketing Coordinator with tasks and directives.

We are a Registered Charity with the CRA, our focus is bringing awareness around domestic abuse and violence. Our journey and advocacy started when we lost Nadia El-Dib, who was violently murdered in Calgary on March 25th, 2018, in a case of domestic violence.

Our Mission:
To create a safe and supportive community that promotes healing and growth for survivors of domestic abuse. Through education, advocacy, and outreach, we aim to increase awareness about the impact of domestic abuse on individuals, families, and communities, and work towards preventing and ending all forms of domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:
• Work directly with the Marketing Coordinator to track deadlines, complete tasks, and follow up on directives.
• Extend the reach and awareness of the mission of Nadia's Hope Foundation through content, events and opportunities. 
• Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm relevant and timely marketing ideas.

What we’re looking for:
• Comfortable working on tasks independently and able to track deadlines.
• Basic familiarity with Microsoft 365 Tools.
• Ability to work with a team to brainstorm events, content, and opportunities for Nadia's Hope Foundation.
• Commitment of 5-10 hours per month.
• Experience is an asset but not required.
