My Neighbour’s Keeper is a faith-based nonprofit organization that empowers community resilience by supporting individuals and families in addressing physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual challenges. We believe in the power of compassion, connection, and unwavering support in serving vulnerable members of our communities so no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Mission Statement:
We empower and create meaningful experiences for vulnerable neighbours through accessible, holistic, practical support and professional counselling that strengthens and promotes community resilience.

Vision Statement:
To create communities where everyone looks out for one another.

Our Core Values:
1. We Love God, and We Love People: Our faith inspires us to serve with kindness and empathy.
2. Unwavering Support, for the Long Haul: We’re committed to walking alongside our neighbours, no matter how long the journey takes.
3. Respect for Individual Dignity: We honor the unique worth of every person.

At My Neighbour’s Keeper, we bridge the gaps in community care for — seniors facing isolation, caregivers in need of respite, individuals with disabilities, people reintegrating after incarceration, and those confronting grief, loss, or mental health struggles who have little to no access to mental health services or community support due to financial barriers.

We offer a range of holistic services designed to meet practical needs:
1. Mental and Emotional Support
Individual and Family Counselling: No-cost and low-cost professional counseling to address grief, conflict, mental health struggles, and more, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to healing.
Graceful Aging Counselling Program: Supporting older adults (55+) to navigate aging with dignity and mental wellness.
One Step Ahead Program: Free counseling for individuals preparing to reintegrate into society after incarceration.

2. Physical and Emotional Support
Visitation Program: Weekly visits to seniors and unbefriended individuals in long-term care, creating meaningful social connections.
Transportation and Companion Care: Providing rides and companionship to help with grocery shopping, errands, appointments, and more.
Home Care Services: Practical assistance such as lawn care, snow removal, and light maintenance to support aging in place.

3. Spiritual Support
Bible-based interventions for issues of spiritual dimension.
