Volunteer Hairdressers - Marlborough Park

Are you a licensed hairstylist with a passion for helping others look and feel their best? Join us at The Mustard Seed as a Hairstyling Volunteer and use your skills to provide haircuts and trims for our clients. 

As a Hairstyling Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to offer professional haircuts and trims to our clients and families in the Marlborough community. Your role will not only enhance their physical appearance but also boost their confidence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Use your hairstyling skills and expertise to create flattering and manageable hairstyles.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by following proper sanitation protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their haircut preferences and provide personalized service.
- Offer a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, making guests feel comfortable and valued during their hairstyling experience.

Requirements:
- Valid hairstylist license or certification.
- Proficiency in a variety of hairstyling techniques, including haircuts and trims.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact respectfully and professionally with guests.
- Commitment to maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards in the hairstyling area.
- Compassion, empathy, and a desire to make a positive impact on others' lives.

Time Commitment: Tuesdays from 1pm - 4pm - once/month. 
Flexible scheduling options are available.
