McKenzie Towne Council is hosting Calgary's ONLY Western Canada Ribfest event, which promises to be fun for the whole family! This event will feature mouth-watering ribs, a variety of food trucks, bouncy castles and carnival games, live music, a Western-themed vendors' village, photobooth, and more. Sound & Stage Volunteers should: - Enjoy live music - Have an interest in live sound production - Be able to lift equipment up to 40 lbs. - Be assertive, friendly and helpful - Bring ear-plugs if desired The duties of these volunteers include: - Being the Point of Contact at the Stage between Sound Technician and Production Manager - Stock water at stage for performers - Greet and assist bands with load in and out of equipment during set changes, answer questions - Assist and take instruction from Sound Technician during band change-overs, including moving equipment as needed Here are the available shifts: Friday, August 21: - 10:45am-2:45pm - 6:15-10:15pm Saturday, August 22: - 10:45am-2:45pm - 2:30-6:30pm - 6:15-10:15pm Sunday, August 23: - 10:45am-3:30pm - 3:15-7:15pm Please specify which shift(s) you may be interested in!
