Kiwanis Club of Calgary Chinook

The Kiwanis Club of Calgary Chinook (also known as Chinook Kiwanis) has been around for many years. The club meets at the Austrian Canadian Club every 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month - with the exception of the summer months. Over the last year, the club has been meeting virtually over Zoom. The Club is made up of people who are dedicated to making the lives of children better. They do this by providing bikes for children through the bike program - this is our signature project. The Club also has two School programs designed to support and promote youth education and leadership skill development. The members of the Club also provide volunteer support to many Calgary groups and Agencies that work with or support families and children. The Club is part of a worldwide Kiwanis Organization stretching all around the world. The Chinook Kiwanis are one of 9 Clubs in the Calgary area.
