Huntington Society of Canada - Southern Alberta Chapter

Calgary AB

The Huntington Society of Canada (Southern Alberta Chapter) is part of a national movement of families, volunteers, and supporters united by a common purpose — to improve the quality of life for people affected by Huntington disease (HD).

HD is a hereditary brain disorder that causes physical, cognitive, and emotional changes. It’s often described as having the symptoms of Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS in one disease.

Family is at the heart of our community. Together, we raise awareness, offer support, and help fund research toward our vision — a world free from Huntington disease.

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether helping at events, supporting families, or raising awareness, every hour and every effort makes a real difference. 💙

Vision: A world free from Huntington disease.
Mission: To improve the quality of life for those affected by Huntington disease through support, education, advocacy, and research.
Values: Compassion • Integrity • Accountability • Inclusiveness • Collaboration • Leadership • Empowerment
