The Health & Social Research Centre (HSRC), Inc. was founded in 2015 and incorporated under the Business Corporations Act of Alberta, Canada. Its mission is to address the health and social issues of vulnerable populations including seniors, immigrants and individuals with disability by promoting research and program intervention nationally and globally. The centre is committed to developing and integrating scientific and compelling anecdotal evidence that includes identification and promotion of effective health and social programming and service delivery. ‘Evidence for Action’ is the slogan of the centre. Vision of the HSRC is to work for and with the vulnerable populations to assist in empowering them to achieve an improved quality of life. HSRC also conducts different types of qualitative and quantitative research, including mixed methods, gender audit, project/ program evaluation, appraisal reviews and others.
