Women Build is a signature fundraising event supporting affordable homeownership for hard-working families in Southern Alberta. Each September, hundreds of women from across industries come together to help build affordable homes.
We’re looking for volunteers to help with Registration and PPE stations. This is a great one-time opportunity, with short 2-hour shifts!
Volunteer Shifts
-Tuesday, September 22 | 7:30–9:30 AM – Registration & PPE
-Friday, September 25 | 7:30–9:30 AM – Registration & PPE
Registration Station Duties
-Set up the registration table
-Welcome and sign in participants
-Collect required forms
-Distribute t-shirts
-Direct participants to PPE and personal-item bag areas
-Other duties as needed
PPE Station
-Set up and organize PPE supplies
-Welcome participants and assist with boot sizing
-Distribute PPE and direct participants to personal-item bags
-Keep the station stocked and tidy
-Other duties as needed
Requirements
-Comfortable standing for most of the 2-hour shift
-Reliable and able to arrive on time and stay for the full shift
-Friendly, welcoming attitude
