Title: Finance Director Goals & Mission: - Our mission is to create projects teaching unique and specialized sport and active play programs to children in need. - Our goal is to reach and reach children while encouraging the sustainability of the program Outline of responsibilities: Create charity profile, find and apply for grants, fundraising events, awareness campaigns, team building events, auctions, network for sponsors and donations, sponsor and donor database, assist invoicing and receipts, collect information for posts, thank you letters for donations Time commitment expected: Monthly meetings, team meetings, events, independent work. Approximately 5 hours per month Skills, experience and qualifications required: preferred experience with non-for-profit organization, preferred experience with fundraising or fund development, preferred project management experience, preferred database knowledge Personal traits and qualities needed and/or desired: ability to follow through on commitments and proactively identify opportunities, team player, integrity, reliability
