### Volunteer With Good Companions 50 Plus Club

At Good Companions 50 Plus Club, we believe no one should age alone.

For over 50 years, we have been creating a welcoming and vibrant community where adults aged 50+ can stay active, build friendships, enjoy new experiences, and remain connected to the people and community around them.

Based in southwest Calgary, our organization offers a wide range of programs and services including wellness classes, educational workshops, day trips, live music events, social suppers, recreation programs, community gatherings, health clinics, volunteer-led activities, and much more.

We are currently building a volunteer community and are looking for caring, enthusiastic, and community-minded people who would like to get involved.

Volunteer opportunities may include:

• Helping with events, concerts, and community gatherings
• Assisting with lunches, coffee service, and social programs
• Welcoming members and visitors to the club
• Gardening and helping maintain our outdoor spaces
• Supporting administrative or office projects
• Helping with setup, cleanup, and general building support
• Assisting with technology support or special projects
• Helping create a welcoming environment for older adults

Whether you can volunteer weekly, monthly, occasionally, or simply want to explore ways to help, we would love to hear from you.

Join us in helping build a stronger, kinder, and more connected community for older adults in Calgary.

Together, we can ensure no one ages alone.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Volunteers will gain valuable experience working in a welcoming nonprofit environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults. Opportunities exist to build communication skills, event experience, community connections, leadership experience, and hands-on nonprofit experience while becoming part of a caring and supportive community.
