Grant Researcher and Proposal Writer
2 hours
/ weekly
3-6 month term
We’re very excited to welcome a new member to our Girls of Tomorrow Foundation (G.O.T.) team! This role focuses on researching grant opportunities that align with our programs empowering girls through solar energy, menstrual health, entrepreneurship, and permaculture initiatives. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also support drafting funding proposals and applications. Time Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per week (flexible schedule). Term: 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension if it’s a great fit. We’re looking for someone who is: •Proactive and self-directed, able to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision. •Curious and resourceful, especially when it comes to finding potential funders or learning new systems. •Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to track and summarize opportunities clearly. •Experienced in grant research or writing (an asset, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person). This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about international development, gender equality, or renewable energy who wants to make a meaningful contribution in just a few hours a week!
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
You’ll gain hands-on experience in grant research and writing while contributing to projects empowering girls in rural communities. This role helps build your résumé and professional skills, and we’re happy to provide letters of recommendation. After six months, there may be an opportunity to join our Board of Directors for those interested in deeper involvement.
