Girl Guides of Canada is looking for an additional 3-4 energetic, enthusiastic, fun adults to be the Ember leaders in the Walden neighbourhood for 2025/2026! No experience necessary, all training provided, many resources available to help with program planning. Successful applicants will complete the screening and onboarding process immediately and then complete self paced training with a local mentor. Our new Ember unit will meet on Mondays 6.00pm - 7.30pm. We empower young girls and women to be everything they want to be, and as a volunteer, you will help make that happen! Our volunteers support girls as they build confidence, develop new skills and become leaders in their communities. As part of a unit’s leadership team, you’ll facilitate fun and engaging program activities, like scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, games and more for our Embers (7-8 years) Volunteers commit to 3 hours per week for the duration of the school year.
