Banff - Unit Guiders - Girl Guides of Canada
Girl Guides of Canada is looking for Unit Guiders in Banff to support our Sparks (5-6 years) and Embers (7-8 years). We empower young girls and women to be everything they want to be, and as a volunteer, you will help make that happen! Our volunteers support girls as they build confidence, develop new skills and become leaders in their communities. As part of a unit’s leadership team, you’ll facilitate fun and engaging program activities, like scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, outdoor exploration, games and more. Volunteers commit to 3 hours per week for unit meetings during the school year. Successful applicants will complete onboarding immediately and work with a local mentor through the summer and be ready for the girls to begin the new school year.

Certification or Education Required
All volunteers must have reached the age of majority in their province or territory. Pass a Police Record Check facilitated by Girl Guides of Canada. Complete organizational training components on safety, the role and administrative duties, as part of the volunteer onboarding process
