Foundation of St. Teresa of Calcutta

St. Teresa of Calcutta School is a vibrant Catholic French immersion elementary school located in the south Calgary. Currently, our school is without a playground as the previous playground structure surpassed its life expectancy and was removed earlier than anticipated after inspection.

A school playground is an integral part of a child’s education, personal growth, and development. Playgrounds not only provide a safe place for students to get physical exercise, they also allow time to rejuvenate a student’s mind and serve as a meeting place where students get to know other students in the community, developing socialization skills.

We are reaching out to the members of the community to assist in the build of our new playground this September 17-20th.
