The aspect of Evergreen Theatre Society that colours our tapestry, 30 years in the making, is how we have grown to be a connector of artistic practice and the communities artists serve.

The artistic experience ETS provides to the arts community and general public is as unique as every individual we serve. We have a clear shape and definition, but our place in the artistic tapestry of Calgary, Mohkinstsis is entirely focused on making SPACE for creative communities to thrive. And every space we help create is as unique as those community members who utilize it. From school communities (across Alberta) who invite our professional artists into their classrooms, to the global community served by our online educational programming, to the diverse group of professional artists that use our facility, we move through our artistic practice guided by our value driven priorities to create a bridge between art, culture and the communities we all call home. For us community is a representation of all areas of our practice; artistic, school, environmental, cultural and everything in between. ETS strives to offer space to professional artists to prepare and share their work, while creating and maintaining an ecosystem in which artistic practice and mindset are integrated into all of society.
