Calling all Realtors, Handyfolks & Contractors - Facility Maintenance Lead, Capacity Building Committee

The Facility Maintenance Lead is a member of the Elizabeth House Capacity Building Committee. 

The Capacity Building Committee strengthens the capacity of the Elizabeth House program in 3 key areas: marketing, fundraising and facility maintenance. They work as a team to find opportunities to make the House a beautiful place to live, increase program awareness, attract potential volunteers/supporters and carry out fundraising initiatives. 

The role of the Facility Maintenance Lead is to make Elizabeth House a safe, comfortable and livable home for all residents, staff and visitors. The Facility Maintenance Lead will identify, plan and carry out on-going or project-based facility work. This work will include building repairs and maintenance, landscaping, lawn care and special projects. The Lead will do the work themselves, coordinate volunteers to do work and coordinate with the maintenance Contractor.  

The Facility Maintenance Lead will also participate in monthly Committee meetings where they will work collaboratively to make sure the committee is raising the profile of the Elizabeth House.

This role contributes directly to Elizabeth House’s mission by supporting the maintenance of the residents’ home.
