Event Support Needed - Stampede Breakfast

Join us for a morning of community spirit and Stampede fun! CUPS is proud to be the charity of choice at the Suncor Energy Centre's Stampede Charity Breakfast, and we’re looking for 2 volunteers to help us engage with the public and support event operations. 

Event details:
Date: Tuesday, July 8
Event Time: 8 AM – 10:30 AM
Volunteer Arrival time: 7:00 AM
Location: Suncor Energy Centre, West Plaza (111 5 Avenue SW)
 
What to Expect:
- The event is outdoors with live music, so expect a lively and potentially loud atmosphere and be prepared for the weather
- Volunteers should be friendly, social, and comfortable interacting with the public
- Ability to be on your feet and moving around for up to 3 hours is important
- Please note that transportation is not provided

What You'll be Doing:
- Welcoming and engaging attendees entering the event with a friendly smile and positive attitude
- Counting guests at entry points using clickers
- Directing guests to CUPS staff if they have questions about payment or CUPS' work in the community
- Promoting our 50/50 raffle using QR code signage
