Civil Air Search and Rescue Association, Calgary Zone

Since 1986, CASARA has served in a civilian role in Canada’s national air search and rescue program to locate downed aircraft and missing persons. We in the Calgary zone are on call at all times by the Royal Canadian Air Force, police and other organizations to assist in the local area. Members must be 18 and over and interested in serving on aircraft, in drone search teams and in ground-based teams to home radio distress signal beacons.
