Golf Ambassador

Turn your love of golf into a rewarding volunteer experience. Apply to be a Golf Course Ambassador. Help make every round at City of Calgary golf courses friendly, relaxed, and fun. As a volunteer Golf Ambassador, you’ll welcome guests, answer questions, share course updates, and help keep play moving smoothly so everyone enjoys their day. You might greet players on the first tee, assist clubhouse staff with tee times, or drive around the course offering smiles, tips, and gentle reminders about golf etiquette and safety. If you’re 18 or older and enjoy being part of the action, we’d love to have you join our team. Apply today and help every golfer start with a warm welcome and finish with a great story. Ambassadors choose one regular shift each week from May to October. If you need time off, you can trade or find someone to cover your shift.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
As a Golf Ambassador, you earn points for every hour you volunteer. You can use these points for golf and power carts on weekdays anytime, and after 2 p.m. on weekends and holidays. You earn two points per hour, plus bonus points for full shifts on Fridays, weekends, and holidays. Points stay valid for one full year. You also get free coffee during your shift and free use of a pull cart.
