I organize cultural entertainment for our Annual fundraiser

Our non-profit organization, CHILD Foundation, is hosting the 10th annual fundraiser on October 18 at 6 pm.  Since 2011, the CHILD Foundation has built and maintained the Maya Devi Charitable Hospital in rural India, providing critical healthcare services to underserved communities. In addition to establishing the hospital itself, the CHILD Foundation has, over the years, installed solar panels to ensure a steady electricity supply and added vital medical services such as a physiotherapy room, an X-ray machine, a dental office, and a blood work laboratory. We partnered with Johnson and Johnson to provide women and girls with sanitary napkins. We arrange several Eye Vision Camps throughout the year, whereby optometrists from Delhi volunteer their time to carry out vision tests, provide eyeglasses, and, when necessary, arrange for patients to have eye surgery at a hospital in Delhi.
In a region where water-borne diseases can become pandemic, working closely with Rotary and MOTHER Foundation, we spearheaded a bio-sand water purification system for the village, providing clean drinking water to some 3,000 people.
We developed a health and awareness education program for the women and girls in the community. This program is delivered by the medical staff at the hospital. 

 Most of our guests are Rotarians, making this a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to connect with a large group of individuals who are deeply passionate about humanitarian work and who bring extensive experience from working on both local and international projects—actively creating the change they wish to see in the world.
