Music Therapy Volunteer

Sound Connections & Tempo Gusto Music Therapy is a group-based music therapy program for adults with disabilities that encourages self-expression and confidence through singing, playing instruments, and exploring music in a inclusive environment,

Primary Responsibilities:
-Assist the music therapy program which provides participants with the opportunity to learn, listen, and interact with a variety of songs, genres and instruments within a group setting
-Encourage participants to sing, play instruments and choose songs in a supportive environment
-Promote self-expression and confidence through music therapy

Commitment: 
-Sound Connections classes run Thursdays 11am - 12pm 
-Tempo Gusto classes run Thursdays 10 am - 11am
Location: Terwillegar Recreation Centre, Edmonton

*Must be over 18 to volunteer.
