CP Cares Program Committee Member

Time commitment:  2 hours per month for 10 months

CP Cares program is a made up out of 2 initiatives (Funding Request Program and Technology Fund) to assists Albertans with cerebral palsy to achieve a better quality of life by providing financial support to cover costs of essential everyday needs, including adaptive equipment and technology, camps, treatments, medications, etc. 


Cerebral Palsy Alberta (CPAA) offers volunteer opportunities for all commitment levels including one-time events, ongoing programs, or office-based work. Volunteers play a fundamental role in the programs and services that we offer to our members and the community. There is an opportunity for individuals of all abilities to become volunteers

By volunteering with us, you are a positive representation of our organization, the community and especially in the lives of other people. Volunteering with the CPAA is an opportunity to use your personal interests and skills towards creating a Life without Limits for individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.

​CP Cares Program Committee is made up of up to 10 volunteers who are not connected to the clients of CPAA (not a family member or a friend), to provide neutral feedback and approvals on submitted applications.
 
The Funding Request Program Committee volunteer must:

Not be connected to the clients of CPAA
Committed to giving back to the community.
Comfortable with online communication tools (meetings over ZOOM)
Follow policies and procedures (training provided)

Able to join from all over the province, as monthly meetings will be conducted online.
