Organization: CareBridge Documentation Team: CareBridge Impact Team Location: Calgary, AB (In-person & Virtual) Time Commitment: Flexible, on a workshop basis About CareBridge CareBridge Documentation partners with shelters, youth programs, settlement services, and community agencies to help clients build stability through practical, trauma-informed education. Our workshops focus on financial literacy, documentation access, empowerment, and real-life system navigation for individuals facing transition. We are expanding our CareBridge Impact Team and inviting passionate, community-minded individuals to facilitate meaningful workshops that directly support vulnerable populations in Calgary. Role Overview As a Workshop Facilitator, you will design and deliver structured, client-centered workshops for partner organizations. You’ll be supported by CareBridge tools, templates, and guidance to ensure every session is practical, professional, and impactful. This role is ideal for: Social work and human services students or graduates Community workers and volunteers Educators and facilitators Individuals passionate about empowerment, financial literacy, and community impact What You’ll Do Prepare workshops using CareBridge’s facilitator guide and AI planning prompts Deliver 60–90 minute sessions (virtual or in-person) Adapt content to suit the audience (youth, newcomers, shelter residents, etc.) Complete a short session summary after each workshop Represent CareBridge professionally with partner organizations Workshop Topics May Include Documentation & accessing essential services Financial literacy & budgeting on limited income Empowerment, goal setting, and stability planning Youth and newcomer system navigation Passive income and long-term planning basics What CareBridge Provides Workshop structure, templates, and preparation tools Slide deck templates and handouts Required equipment and materials (or reimbursed with prior approval) Booking coordination with partner agencies Ongoing support from the CareBridge team Compensation & Appreciation While this is a volunteer-based role, CareBridge values your time and professionalism. Facilitators receive: A fixed honorarium for each workshop delivered Travel compensation for in-person sessions (when applicable) Equipment and materials provided or reimbursed with prior approval A small token of appreciation upon completion of each successful workshop What We’re Looking For Strong communication and presentation skills Comfortable speaking to small groups (10–30 participants) Organized, reliable, and community-oriented Understanding of trauma-informed and client-centered approaches Ability to prepare and follow a structured session plan No prior workshop experience required — we train and support you.
