Volunteer receptionist in Edmonton

We’re currently seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable volunteer receptionist to help create a welcoming and supportive environment at our CNIB locations.

About the Role:
As a volunteer receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and clients. Your presence helps ensure that everyone who walks through our doors feels valued, respected, and cared for.

This opportunity is perfect for someone who:

Enjoys meeting new people and creating a warm, inclusive space.

Has strong communication and basic administrative skills.

Is dependable, courteous, and comfortable answering phones and greeting guests.

Can commit to about 4 hours a week during regular business hours.

As a Volunteer Receptionist, You’ll:

Greet and assist visitors at the front desk.

Answer and direct phone calls.

Help  provide basic program information.

Support CNIB staff with light clerical tasks when needed.

Your contribution helps create a smooth, friendly experience for people living with sight loss and helps keep our programs running efficiently.
