Volunteer opportunity - Leduc

Looking for a rewarding way to give back with just 1–2 hours a week? The CNIB Vision Mate Program is looking for a friendly and dependable volunteer to support a local individual living with vision loss.

This person is active, independent-minded, and would love a helping hand to stay connected and engaged in their community.

They’re looking for support with:

Going for walks and staying active

Grocery shopping and general errands

Visiting the gym

Trips to the mall or local shops

Who You Are:

Friendly, patient, and reliable

Comfortable walking and moving around with someone

Available once a week at a consistent time

Open to learning about vision loss and making a real impact

What You’ll Do:

Provide friendly, one-on-one support

Assist with tasks that are easier with a guiding hand

Offer companionship and encouragement

Help foster independence and reduce isolation
