CYPT Seating Assistant

Do you want to help youth express themselves through theatre and performing arts? Calgary Young People's Theatre is looking for Seating Assistants to volunteer at the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival (August 22-24, 2-25). CYPT is the chosen charity, and the festival is helping to raise funds to support young artists in Calgary. We need your help to make it all happen! And guess what... You get to enjoy the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival for FREE!

Must be mobile and able to stand for long periods of time. Seating Assistants will help patrons to organize seating so there are no large gaps in rows and keep rows close together. Wave patrons forward into rows as
new rows develop, direct as needed.

You can pick whatever shift suits your fancy through the volunteer application portal:
Aug 22 – Evening Session VIP Doors Open 5:30 PM
Aug 23 – Matinee VIP Doors Open 2:00 PM, Evening Session VIP Doors Open 7:00 PM
Aug 24 – Evening Session VIP Doors Open 5:30 PM
Matinees end at 6:00 PM, Evening Session ends at 11:00 PM
