CYPT VIP Ushers
Do you want to help youth express themselves through theatre and performing arts? Calgary Young People's Theatre is looking for VIP Ushers to volunteer at the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival (August 22-24, 2-25). CYPT is the chosen charity, and the festival is helping to raise funds to support young artists in Calgary. We need your help to make it all happen! And guess what... You get to enjoy the Great Outdoor Comedy Festival for FREE! Must be mobile, able to lift 10-15 lbs, stand for a long time and understand the site layout. This role includes escorting patrons to their designated table; ensure guests sit at their assigned tables, remove extra festival chairs and stack out of the way. Direct concerns, lost and found, answering customer questions. Retrieval of chairs from the viewing area, after the festival. You can pick whatever shift suits your fancy through the volunteer application portal: Aug 22 – Evening Session VIP Doors Open 5:30 PM Aug 23 – Matinee VIP Doors Open 2:00 PM, Evening Session VIP Doors Open 7:00 PM Aug 24 – Evening Session VIP Doors Open 5:30 PM Matinees end at 6:00 PM, Evening Session ends at 11:00 PM
