Social Media Manager

The Calgary Toy Library is a community-based membership program where families can borrow toys instead of buying them new. We help reduce waste, save money, and create more play opportunities for children in Calgary. We are looking for a Social Media Manager to run our Instagram account @yyctoylibrary. This role is about an hour per week, can be remote, and includes: Creating and posting 3 posts and 3 stories per week Sharing photos, videos, and updates about our toys, events, and community impact Providing advice and strategy to help us reach new members and strengthen our online presence Experience creating content for Instagram, including posts and stories is an asset Familiarity with building engagement for small community organizations is an asset Ability to work independently and bring ideas for content and strategy Interest in environmental sustainability, community connection, or early childhood development is an asset This is a volunteer position. Even if you're new to social media and community engagement, a passion for growing Calgary's sustainable parenthood community is all that's needed to apply.
