Join a Community Volunteering and Fun Calgary Women's Service Club

It's Spring and it's a great time to get involved in the Calgary community!  Want to add some volunteering and fellowship to your life?  Get involved in the Calgary community with a great group of ladies!  

We are a ladies’ service club with a focus on community service and supporting women’s health and wellness organizations in Calgary.  For more information and how to contact us, check out our website at www.prairieroseprogressclub.ca

Here’s what we do:

• Participate in monthly community service opportunities.  Please note - It is important to note that for our community service events, you should be able to be on your feet and active to safely participate.  We enjoy being out in the community helping at events that could include activities such as bagging, boxing, moving, sorting, standing, and cooking in our community for 2-3 hours at a time.
• Hold dinner meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month
• Support women's health and wellness initiatives
• We do not hold ticket selling events
• Host a casino to raise charity dollars in support of Women's Health.  All club members volunteer for this important fundraiser.
• Support Canadian Special Olympics locally through our National organization
• Work together to foster fellowship with our club members and those from other Canadian Progress Clubs
• Network with National Canadian Progress Club members through Regional and National conventions
• We operate as a club and are registered as a Society with the Alberta government

Calgary Prairie Rose may accept new members to join us in giving back to the community with an energetic group of ambitious women. There is a process to be invited to become a member to ensure we are a good fit.  More details can be provided at a meeting.  Our dinner meetings are a great opportunity to meet us and learn about our club.
