SUPPORT WOMEN’S HEALTH, SERVE OUR COMMUNITY, ENJOY FELLOWSHIP

Are you interested in giving back to the community while also enjoying fellowship and fun with a great group of ladies?  We are a small but mighty service club making a difference for over 25 years through charitable support of women’s health initiatives and our community service. Our fun and casual Calgary club is looking for ladies to join us.  Here’s what we do:

* We SUPPORT WOMEN’S HEALTH AND WELLNESS INITIATIVES within the Calgary region with the charity dollars we raise by hosting regular casinos.  All club members volunteer at our casino fundraisers as we do not fundraise through the organization of ticket selling events.

* We PARTICIPATE IN MONTHLY COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES helping at events or with organizations who need assistance with various tasks which include physical activities such as bagging, boxing, moving, sorting, lifting, even meal preparation for 2-3 hours at a time. It is important to note that our community service events require the ability to be on your feet and active to safely participate.  

* We HOLD REGULAR DINNER MEETINGS on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month from September through June. 

* We SUPPORT CANADIAN SPECIAL OLYMPICS locally and through our national Canadian Progress Club organization.

* We WORK TOGETHER TO FOSTER FELLOWSHIP within our club through regular dinner meetings and our club social events. We also network with other Canadian Progress Club members enjoying local Progress Club events, as well as Regional and National conventions.

Calgary Prairie Rose Progress operates as a club that is registered as a Society with the Alberta government. We are excited to accept new members who share our vision.  Our dinner meetings are a great opportunity to meet us, learn more about our club and how to become a member.  More details will be provided at a meeting.
