Calgary Opera

Calgary Opera is a cornerstone company in Calgary's arts and culture scene. Volunteer support is critical to our mission to bring world-class opera productions to Calgary and foster artistic talent in Alberta and beyond. In addition to our mainstage productions, we run several arts outreach programs and collaborative productions every year, including the widely attended Opera in the Village festival. Our Emerging Artist development program is the only one of its kind in the province, and our Opera in the Schools program gets children involved in the magic of creating an opera, from storyline to music to stage management.
